HubSpot, a leading customer relationship management (CRM) company, offers a full platform of marketing, sales, customer service, and CRM software to help businesses grow better. Their vast product suite consists of hundreds of landing pages for specific features, and they needed a way to improve internal linking and accessibility while maintaining aesthetic appeal.

Challenges:

Complexity:With hundreds of distinct product pages, creating a cohesive and user-friendly navigational structure was a daunting task.

Brand Integration:HubSpot was in the process of rolling out a refreshed brand system with separate sub-brands for each product.

User Experience:The client desired a visually appealing page that was equally friendly to users and search engines without turning into a mere collection of links.

Solutions:

Custom Illustration:Form + Function focused on using engaging visuals, creating a series of illustrations that adhered to HubSpot’s new brand system. Collaboration with HubSpot’s internal design team ensured alignment and provided valuable feedback.

Enhanced Navigation:To prevent users from getting lost on the extensive page, a sticky secondary navigation component was implemented. It allowed for easy access to key sections without the need for custom development.

Utilizing HubSpot’s Design System:The design mockups were created using existing HubSpot modules and components, eliminating unnecessary development effort and maintaining brand consistency.
